CHARLEY HENNESSY

Charley is a talented all-round dancer with a deep passion for funk styles such as locking, popping, and waacking. In 2024, she founded the Funky Femme Project — originally envisioned as a space for female funk dancers to train and grow together.

What began as a training hub quickly evolved into a serious collective, earning respect within the dance community.

Now, just one year later, Funky Femme Project has won multiple national and international competitions and is performing across Europe. Showcasing the power and artistry of funk through a strong, female-driven voice.

FINN VAN DRENTH

Finn is a strong and professional trained urban and contemporary dancer. She has competed in several national and international shows and competitions.

Along with her choreography side, Finn is a freestyle dancer in the (urban/experimental) battle scene, both national and international, known under the name Lil’ China.

She is focusing on her own movement language, creating a bold collaboration between urban and contemporary styles.

Linde Paalman

Linde brings soul and energy to every dance floor she gets her feet on. She’s currently in her last year of her urban studies at De Dansopleiding in Utrecht.

Hiphop is her second main style next to locking. From freestyle to choreography nothing to crazy for her!

Dana Adriaansen

Dana loves music that lets her natural groove flow through her body. In 2024, she graduated from the Urban Dance Academy in Arnhem.

She started dancing as a kid, with hip-hop as her main style. Over the past years she has also trained extensively in funk styles and house. Choreography and being on stage have been her passion from the beginning, but freestyle is well on its way to reaching that same level of love and excitement for her.

ReBECA

Rebeca, better known as ‘Rebis’ is currently studying and I am Creative Business at Inholland University of Applied Sciences.

When she’s not dancing, she’s singing, playing instruments, songwriting, or working on creative direction.

Locking is her main dance style, but she also enjoys dancing hip-hop and house. She has a deep interest & love for funk culture and staying connected to the history and foundations of funk itself.

Marijn kunkeler

Marijn is a positive person and enjoys working hard to achieve her goals. She loves helping others. She teaches Afro and hip-hop dance classes to children, teenagers, and adults (of various ages). These are also her main styles, and Marijn feels most at home with Afro. (And she can enjoy it the most without having to think too much.) Marijn feels free on stage. There, she can enjoy conveying her creativity and story to the audience. In doing so, she hopes to inspire her admirers.

Indy brings her sharp technique, soul and groove to every dance floor she manages to gt her feet on. Her personality shines through when she’s freestyling and doing choreography. She’s currently in her first year at the Urban Dans Opleiding.

Zosha loves to work hard and always gives her all to achieve her goals. She’s an all-round dancer with a main focus on hip hop and locking with a background on break . Next to that she’s diving into popping to fuel her passion even more.

From creating to freestyle, Zosha feels free. She dances from groove and feeling.

She recently graduated from her dance education and is now fully focused on training and developing her craft. Besides locking, her main styles are hip-hop, African street styles, and contemporary.
